So we know girls are quite different from boys.
Heck, there is even a book or 50 about it.
Why does this have anything to do with photography?
My friend Michelle Lunn of Michelle Lunn Photography
(Who has been my knight in shining armor by the way. She has been awesome taking on my photo sessions I have had to miss due to bed rest!)
and I may be onto something.
P.S. Today is Michelle's Birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!
While editing, our wonderful husbands often play a role.
We run our images by them for approval.
We noticed that both of our hubbies prefer color images over black and white.
BY FAR
Now Michelle and I?
We are suckers for the Black and Whites.
They are just soooo classy and timeless.
I am sure I am going to learn more differences between boys and girls
within the next few months.
My friend, Tami, has a wonderful baby boy.
She is my first Vegas friend.
I already go to her for advice and I am super excited about all of the wisdom she has shared.
Her baby, Sean, and Maddie will be great friends.
Since Tami has been such an awesome friend,
and since I am such a lover of Black and Whites,
Tami will get an extra long post full of both options.
After all, Sean is a boy.
He likely wants to see himself in color!
Tami had 2 sessions with me.
The first with her hubby's family.
The second with hers.
Now if this image were B&W we would totally be missing the adorable pink nose...
But when you pay a lot of money for professional images, not having a red nose could be a plus.
Sometimes I can't decide which version I like better:
Now sometimes, I prefer the photo in color and don't even think twice about making a B&W option.
Pictures of Generations I feel should reflect the current time and technology. I believe Generational images are the ones that will be kept for generations to come.
Love Grandma Hugs : )
Sometimes though, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the black and white and don't look twice at the color.
So, Ladies and Gents-
You decide.
Me?
I love the black and whites!
Of course, Sean looks handsome either way!!
Hahaha love it!!! That was cute! And that little penguin hat picture is adorable!
