Lindsay and David: MARRIED Part Two

This reception was definitely one of the best receptions I have ever been to.
EVERYONE DANCED.
EVERYONE.
It was like a high school Homecoming.
Their crazy photographer even got down on the dance floor at one point.
There may or may not be photographic proof of this.
Anyway, onto the reception.

One Proud Papa

I. LOVE. THIS.

This little man may give David a run for his money.

Lindsay and David: MARRIED Part One

Lindsay had her dream wedding.
And I had a photographer's dream couple.
Brides, Lindsay carried out the day flawlessly.
I spoke to her several times before her wedding,
each time I would ask,
"Are you nervous yet?"
She was calm, cool, collected and always responded "no".
Well, until the processional started anyway
and she got to walk down the aisle to the man of her dreams.
I have to say David,
You looked remarkable in your uniform.
If I were Lindsay,
I would make you wear it at least once a week.
Enough typing,
onto the long awaited preview...

I loved the accessories for this wedding.
You know an event is going to be awesome when swords are involved.
From the time the Dr. says, "It's a girl", moms and dads think
about what this moment will be like.
I happen to know Lindsay's mom and dad were both so proud of their baby girl.

I would have to say this was one of my favorite parts of the day:

After about 47 kisses to get through,
they were ready to begin their life together.

Immediately after the ceremony Mr & Mrs Price got a few moments to themselves right before signing the official documents.

Ladies should have had to pay admission to this wedding.
I mean seriously?
Its a good thing I'm married.
I wouldn't have know which one of them to chase!

The following collage taken by my second shooter, Chris Engel.

I just love how cute they are together.

Congratulations my gorgeous girl.
I can't believe I remember you in diapers,
and how you are married.
I am so honored to have been your photographer.

Check back for Part 2 tomorrow!

Ready or Not, Here HE Comes!

Oh Little Guy,
We have been waiting on you FORVER!
Baby Oliver is officially the first Meyerott Boy of this generation.
Aunt Amy can't wait to go to friday night football, and summer baseball, and your uncle can't wait till your first golf outing!
Oliver, just like his sister, decided to come out as soon as I left town
so pictures of him will have to wait until my next St Louis trip.
I am so glad I got to do maternity pictures,
one last time-
the family of three.

Three favorites from the session:

My sweet little niece, Ell Bell, whose world was just rocked.

Miss you FOUR so much.
I can't wait to hold my little guy!
Thank GOD for Facetime and Skype!!
Love,
Aunt Amy

Amanda + Jeff = ENGAGED!!!!

I just LOVE Amanda.
Apparently so does Jeff.
I was thrilled when a few days after signing up for a family session,
Amanda contacted me asking for a dual session,
FOR HER ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS.
Everyone knew it would eventually happen.
Jeff and Amanda have been together for years, and years, and years.
But timing is everything.
And although they already have 2 kids,
now is the PERFECT time for them to tie the knot.
They will have the cutest ring bearers ever!
I had a blast doing their engagement photos.
I have been taking their photos for two years now,
but this time was different.
Aside from the rock on Amanda's left hand,
there was just something new...
It truly seemed like a new level of love and appreciation for one another,
and I couldn't be happier for the two of them!
Congratulations Amanda and Jeff!

This picture really makes me miss trees.

Rule of Photography #174- Do not shoot on private property... or just don't get caught.

...and one more.
Just because the poor girl has been waiting soooo long : )
Seriously, being the last post of my marathon sessions has to be TORTURE!

They Only Get Bigger.

Babies grow up way too fast.
Amanda and Jeff's babies are prime examples of this.
Amanda, Jeff, and Cam were 3 of my first "clients"/ friends when I started my
business 2 years ago.
Back then, Coltyn was hardly the size of a peanut.
He and his brother just kept getting bigger and bigger,
and cuter and cuter.
And to be honest,
their parents did too.
Well the cuter part anyway!

I am pretty sure there is a picture from 2 years ago almost exactly like this but minus one handsome little man.

Just the boys!

I couldn't wait to try out this pose.
I love their silly little boys.

I am so honored to have been documenting this family's milestones over the past few years...
Family Pictures.
Maternity Pictures.
Newborn Pictures.
More Family Pictures
And tomorrow.....
ENGAGEMENT PICTURES!!!
