Baby Addie

Some parents are just plain lucky.
Addie's parents are one of those lucky parents who were blessed with a very, very beautiful baby. Not only is Addie just about as precious as they come, she is so good too. She slept almost the entire session and when at one point I made her cry (babies put up with a lot during pictures!) her parents acted as if the sound was foreign to them. At the end of the session I was trying to figure out how to take Addie home with me. Its babies like her that give me baby fever : ) Thanks so much for inviting me into your home! I can't wait till her session with Eli so I can see how much she has grown!

I love this next picture so much I am including two versions:

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love dogs. I am very excited for my puppy, Myler, to be a big brother one day. Addie has the best big sister ever. They have only known one another a few days but you can tell how seriously this pup takes her job. I know it is hard for a big sister to not be the only baby anymore so I made sure she got some of her own attention.

One big, happy family.

This one is for my husband. He loves when I put babies in bowls. Our children will surely be tortured.

Addie is so lucky to have so much love and talent in her family. All of the blankets in these photos are made by women in her family.

Of course Addie is beautiful. How could she not be? Look at her parents!

Congratulations on your Beautiful new addition!

The Foreman Family

I never think that little girls should be separated from their daddies. Unfortunately wars do happen and several daddies, mommies, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, and friends all sacrifice their lives for out country (the latter part is fortunate). The following daddy is currently deployed to Afghanistan for the next year. We all know how fast kids grow so they decided to get some family photos DAYS before their dad left (on the 4th of JULY!!) So all of my awesome friends who tell me they always check my blog, do me a huge favor and keep this daddy : Donald Foreman and his family in your prayers so he can return home safely to his 3 best girls!

The thing I love the most about this picture is how much fin the sisters are having together!
: )

Every now and then my clients like to scare me. I always get visions of bloody knees, soaking wet kids, or a hospital visit... I have a lot to get over before I become a parent or I will have a lot of gray hair.

I will be praying for you all for the next year. Your pictures will be in the mail soon!

I know, I know. I'm a bad little blogger. With summer family vacation, a float trip with friends and the last week of my masters work looming ahead things have been quite busy. So to get back into the swing of things I will start with the girl who broke my camera! Ha, completely kidding. A few of you may know that my Rebel broke in June. I almost had a heart attack. One thing that kept me calm was the understanding of Krystal and her Mom. We were in the middle of Forest Park on one of the hottest days of the early summer and right in the middle of her session CRUNCCCHH (not the noise you want to hear out of your camera). My shutter had gone out. So I went home and much to my surprise my wonderful husband said, "Cool, Time for an upgrade!" So here we are, a month later with Krystal's session finally finished. The crunchy camera is fixed and is a wonderful back up to my precious 5D. Although Krystal had nothing to do with the camera breaking, it's still fun to tease her that she is the girl who broke the camera! Kind of silly though because she is quite beautiful:

Session #2

Krystal, Thanks so much for breaking my camera. I had so much fun doing 2 sessions with you! Your pics are being mailed tomorrow, hope you love them!

Andrew and Amy: MARRIED JULY 4 2009

A year ago today I stood on the beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica and married my best friend. I love our similarities and I am so thankful for our differences. Although this first year was by far the busiest of my life, it was also the most fun because I had Andrew to sit and be still with. I couldn't ask for a better person to share my life with.
Here are a few pictures of our wedding day taken by our friend Emily.

We ran off to read vows we had written to one another.

We had a reception when we got back. All of these images were taken by Kelly Manno!

"A kiss is just a kiss. A sigh is just a sigh. The world will always welcome lovers, as time goes by."

This picture truly captures the essence of our relationship. This is us.

I love you Andrew. I am so lucky to share all of my adventures with you!

Check Back Later Today to see Laurent and Kathryn: another couple about to take the same road we took!
