Mrs. Amy B's Kids

I remember when I was little I thought it was the coolest thing ever that St. Charles contained a restaurant called Miss Aimee B's Tearoom. Although it was spelled differently, I still thought it was awesome that MY NAME was a restaurant because of course, in my mind, I was famous (leave me alone, I was 4). Although I am no longer Amy B., I spent 23 pretty flippen awesome years with that name. I was really excited when another Amy B. contacted me to take pictures of her kids. I was even more excited when they piled out of the car...

First up is Braydan. She is the oldest and she is definitely an awesome big sister.

Can I just say it was about 100 degrees outside with a heat index of 4,000 and this girl put her arms on BURNING train tracks just for this pic. Not one complaint. She would make a great model.

Like I said, great big sister. After the session she carried her not-so-little brother on her back all the way to the car. I was sweating my butt off walking with my camera bag, I don't know that I would have even carried my own kid in that heat!

Next up is Kinley. Not only do Amy and I have the same name but for the past 3 years the Hubby and I have always said if we have a little girl we want to name her Kenleigh after my Dad, Ken.

And last but not least, Ashton. This guy is so adorable. He does not look 4 to me, he just looks like a handsome little man!

Here you go Amy B.! I can't wait for you to see the rest of the pics! Your kids are adorable!! Have fun in a few years, Im pretty positive they will all 3 be SEVERE Heartbreakers!

Happy Father's Day

I want to wish a Happy Father's Day to all of the great dads out there. I was lucky enough to have 4 wonderful men in my life, My Dad- Ken Barron, My Grandpas- Herschel Barron and Earl Collier, and My Husband- Andrew Meyerott. Although 3 of them are no longer with us, they left me with more precious memories than many children get in a lifetime. So to all you dads, grandpas and husbands who make your girls (or boys) feel like the center of their universe I wish you the Happiest Father's Day Possible.

Now onto a great dad and great teacher: Mr. Jameson! Ok so it is actually the Jameson Family but I had to stick with the Dad into. I really think the best gift came 5 weeks ago at least for Rachel (Mr. J's wife) when she got a little more balance to their household with a beautiful baby girl! 3 Jameson Boys! Yikes! Just kidding. Your kids are all precious. I had so much fun chasing them around!!!

Ahh right before Logan pushed Kaleb into the pond...
Ok, Just kidding. But Kaleb did get a little wet. Their dad instructed them to avoid going down the slide until he could check it for rain. (Although this day was BLISTERING hot, it had POURED the night before) Well someone's little ears didn't get the message and a few seconds later we heard a sound equivalent to the crash of the Log Flume at 6 Flags...
This is how I know they have a great Dad: Instead of getting mad that his son didn't listen and got soaked in the middle of pictures, he started laughing and told me to hurry up and get some pics of his baby's anguish! LOVE IT!!
The tears didn't last long. Check out those baby blues.

So Innocent.

Meanwhile little Chloe wondered what she had gotten herself into. : )

Although I am incredibly thankful I had "Dr. J" as an english teacher, his class was no cake walk. Payback finally came for all the work he forced me to do. When it was my turn to give the orders he got some back-breaking work assigned to him. : )

Thanks so much! I had a lot of fun with your family!

NOTE TO ALL CLIENTS: Since this summer has been very busy with photos, school, and work I will be posting who is up for the next sneak peek and who is currently on my editing block.

Little E is Growing Up

I have watched it with my niece for the past year and now I'm watching Eli grow so rapidly before everyone's eyes. Im really excited I get to track this little guy's milestones with my camera. I can't believe how fast time flies. It seems like just a year ago his momma and I were sitting and watching her boyfriend (Eli's Daddy) play baseball. Now they are married and have a little guy of their own. Of course, it has been more like 5 years instead of 1 but that provides even more evidence that time goes by way too fast. Soak it all in Mom and Dad, this little guy will be 18 before you know it!

Just like his Daddy!

We couldn't leave Lovey out. Man, I remember when Lovey was just a brand new pup too. She was so tiny and sweet!

Have a good summer you 3 (4 including Lovey). I will have the rest for you soon!

The Pisciotta Family

The Poopiest Session Ever.
It was seriously the poopiest, not literally- sort of figuratively. Really though, the Pisciottas were GREAT. I had a blast with them. The pics turned out great. So what was poopy you ask?
Let me start by showing you what happens when parents tell their kids to say cheese:

I don't know who invented the "CHEESE" idea bit I do know that I dislike it. I do however like "Poopy". Yep, you read it correctly. POOPY. It works every time. You say poopy, you get a smile like this:

I have to credit this to this little guy's mom. She said it once to be funny and I ran with it. It worked each time I wanted a smile. I warned her this story would make an appearance on my blog. I think it is hilarious, the things I will do to make kiddos laugh. So I present to you the outcome of poopy camera, poopy barn, and poopy smile:

Afterwards we got some poopy family pics.

After Family pics Aunt Janice, who happens to be my cousin (and a Fun/Sassy Partylite Sales Rep if anyone is interested)came to blow some bubbles...
While mom and dad went off with me for some pics of their own.

These were not Poopy. : )

I hope you all had as much fun as I did. I would honestly have to say your session was very much NOT POOPY.
