Merry Christmas to the Frostys!

My best friend is undoubtably one of the best people God placed on the planet. Every year I thank God for her and our friendship. She was the best Maid of Honor for me at my wedding this past summer and I don't know that I will ever be able to repay her for every wonderful thing she has done for me. To show her how much I love her, I decided to be sneaky and take some pictures of what true love really is. What better models to use than her parents, two people who I also love very much.

It was FREEZING when we finally got the chance to meet up for pictures. We were so cold we only took a few shots, but I think they were enough to make their daughter have a nice surprise Christmas Morning.

Happy Holidays Everyone. Enjoy the rest of the season.
I love you Ashley, thank you for being my best friend.

The Fischer's Children

I love being a little sneaky when the situation calls for it. Megan called me wanting to surprise her mom with photos of herself and her siblings for Christmas. We headed out to Illinois right before St. Louis got pelted with tons of rain. Similar to my previous session, the Fischers brought along some very fun hats for their photos...

I can already tell I would LOVE to do a family session with the Fischer's. Although I have never met their parents, it appears all of their kids inherited some great genes. If the parents are half as beautiful as their children are, I may have some models on my hands!

Duing-Davis Christmas Session

I know, I know- I have been a horrible blogger lately. I am so behind on posts but that is only because I had such a wonderful Christmas with my family and friends. Before all of the hustle of the holidays though, I was able to squeeze in a few family photo sessions (and a few sneaky sessions too). When April let me in on her plan for themed Christmas photos, I was immediately on board. The Duing-Davis family does a different theme every year. Since they went to Disney in 2009, what could be a better prop than Mickey Mouse Ears??!!

Fall Wrap Up

Well its sleeting so I am officially declaring it winter which means I will be going into hibernation. With the exception of a few sessions for close friends and and family and a couple spots for Birthday/Newborn/Maternity sessions, I will be spending the winter cuddled up with my husband and puppy. It's been a great 2009, we got married, got a cute new niece, I went back to school for my masters, and last but not least: started my own photography business! So long Fall, it's been a good run- you will be missed!
One of the perks of our neighborhood: Sailboat Races!

Our last BBQ of the season:

This was the evening after a horrible WEEK of dreary, wet weather.

Alright winter, bring it on! I'm ready for lots of snow and hot chocolate! Happy Holidays Everyone!

Schuh Christmas Photos

I had no idea what to expect roughly two years ago when my husband invited me to go out with some of his friends from work. I was kind of nervous but the first time I met Rachel she welcomed me as if we had been friends for years. She had me laughing all night long. I was really excited to meet up with her and her 3 kids for some Christmas Photos!

The McLaughlin Christmas Photos

I'm really lucky Sandy 1) Worked some 3rd shifts in detention and 2) doesn't get mad when lack of sleep interferes with her session 3) has really stinking cute kids she wanted to get some pics of! I am mostly excited to announce that after this week I will be returning to my 1-2 session a week limit. While I have enjoyed taking pictures for the holiday sessions, I am ready to sit back and enjoy the holiday break preparing for my next semester at school. I am so thankful for everyone who has asked me to do their photos, and I hope you all enjoy your holidays! Now onto pictures of the McLaughlin Family!

I think I had some little models on my hands!

Unfortunately we had to sacrifice Aidan to get this shot. : )

The kid's cousin, Colin also came for some pics.
