My Niece Olivia

We went to my niece Sophia's soccer game this weekend and her little sister Olivia was having a great time watching her sister. I could have been a mean aunt and had Sophia's debut on my blog as a sweaty little soccer player, but I decided to be nice. Plus I figure each girl deserves her own spot. So meet my silly little 2 year old niece, Olivia!

She had a great time cheering her big sister on!

I have never had nieces before so they will likely appear a ton in my blog! I love family and am really excited about our next family event: Pig Roast!! Pics to come soon!

Martha and Shane

Leave it to my friend Martha to find one of the coolest places in St. Louis to have an engagement session. Not only did I have an ideal place to shoot, I had ideal weather and an ideal couple! Martha and Shane were up for anything I threw their way and even threw some things at me I still think they are crazy for. Thanks Martha and Shane, I had a blast doing your pictures!
So Martha thought it would be a wise idea to scale the sculptures in heels. I was mentally preparing myself for the session to end at the hospital but she proved me wrong!

Happy Birthday Jenna!

I was excited to do my first, First Birthday Party over the weekend. Little Jenna was incredibly adorable and her family was just as welcoming to myself and my friend Shefy, who came along as my second shooter! We both had a lot of fun and we hope Jenna's family gets as much enjoyment out of the photos as we did! Happy Birthday Jenna!

The Cupcake themed party was a huge success!
Jenna has a cat who happens to be a large ham! This little kitty was posing for pics all afternoon and refused to leave the party.
Shefy though of the idea of shooting some pics through the fireplace screen. We spent about five minutes figuring how to get the screen to work to our advantage but we finally got it!

Labor Day in South Carolina

My husband and I decided it was time for a weekend trip. What better place to take our first family vacation to South Carolina! We loaded up the car, the pup, and a few other essentials and headed to the Palmetto State.
I folded the seats down and had a very padded bed for Myler. He decided it was much more fitting for him to be up front hanging out with the fam.
This clock is located in downtown Columbia, SC. It is one of 5 in the world and is over 150 years old!

Ellie Marie: Two Months

If the name Ellie Marie sounds familiar it is because she has more than one post on here. Ellie is one of my 3 precious nieces. Ellie however happened to come along about two months after I got my camera. I am pretty sure Ellie does not recognize Aunt Amy without her camera! I will be posting a few of my favorites each time I do pictures with Miss Ellie. So be ready to watch this little girl grow!
Ellie made it clear she was not wanting to model anymore so her momma stepped in and put her to sleep within minutes!
Ellie's very talented Grandma Kim (my mother-in law) has been known to paint a mural or two. She started painting this when Ellie was just a little peanut in her Momma's belly. Aunt Amy even got to help paint a couple of the plants!!
