Fall Minis St Louis: Part Two

I just can't make a post about St Louis without taking a moment to congratulate the
St Louis Cardinals on being World Series Champions in 2011!
I am so happy I get to tell Peanut that the year she was born, our boys won!
We may live in Vegas,
but our hearts will always be in Red Bird Nation.
Now onto some beautiful, StL Cardinals Fans

Shannell was worried the kids wouldn't have natural smiles in the pictures.
So I had an idea to ensure we got some genuine joy.

I have been so excited to meet baby Brennan.
The fact that he is here is nothing short of a miracle,
it is also a miracle that his momma is here.
I'm sure Brennan's Daddy is pretty cool,
but he sure has a hero to look up to in his mom.
When Angie was in high school she fought leukemia like a champ.
She had the "Let's Roll" mentality.
Now she's here, and he's here and their little family is just perfect!

I know I have only been posting 6, but I just had to include a picture of Brennan with his grandma!

I haven't seen Jenn since high school.
It is so crazy how much our lives have changed in just a few short years.
These two little boys are the highlight of her days now:

Such a GREAT big brother!

I had so much with fall Mini's this year,
this will definitely be an annual thing.
Thanks so much to all of the families who made this trip possible!

Fall Minis St Louis: Part One

I will think of any excuse to come to St Louis.
Just ask my husband.
I wanted Peanut to get pictures in the fall leaves.
So I begged, booked, and toted 50 bajillion bags and a baby through the airport,
then I met 5 amazing families for Fall Mini Sessions at my new favorite
StL Family location: Lafayette Park.
Fall photos are my favorite.
Which is why,
to honor my husband's wishes,
I will only be returning to St Louis once a year for family sessions : Fall.
I will still do the 3 StL weddings/year but fall will be the only time I book families.
Here is the first set of fall mini previews:

Normally I make sure each kid in a family gets the same amount of blog space.
Little Caden, he is alway super cooperative with photos,
Brynn is a teeny, tiny bit more opinionated.
So I just wanted to give her a little time to shine : )

This was my first session with the Waites.
They were both so sweet and their little pumpkin was adorable!
(I'm referring to the baby)

Look.At.Those.Baby. Blues.

He is just way too cute.
I had so much fun meeting you three!

Seniors 2012: Brandon

As we walked through the campus of Chaminade Preparatory School,
a string of phrases came to my mind:
O' Captian, My Captian,
Carpe Diem,
Esto Vir.
There is something spectacular about Chaminade.
The History. The Heritage. The Motto.
Esto Vir, Be A Man.
Brandon had incredible gratitude towards his school and the education he received there.

Brandon isn't the only one with those feelings of gratitude.
One alumni recently left 28 MILLION dollars to the school.
Brandon's class was the first to be able to see his generosity put to use.

Another thing Brandon is proud of is his cross country record at Chaminade.

The following is my fave:

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, Brandon.
Hoping that you get your first choice of school.
Enjoy the rest of your final year at Chaminade!

Introducing: Carter Cash

Carter Cash
Ring any bells?
June Carter. Johnny Cash.
Carter will never get to see them in concert but something tells me his daddy will make sure he is very familiar with this world famous couple.
There are so many things I love about this session that go way beyond a name,
although I do think it is really cool!
First of all Carter's mommy is just plain awesome.
She allowed me in just hours (3) after her C-Section started,
and although she is a first time mommy of an infant (she has an adorable step daughter),
she was unbelievably calm, laid back, and trusting with her precious little boy.
She did not look one bit like she just had major surgery.
She DEFINITELY did not look like she had been 9 months pregnant earlier that morning!

Carter is so lucky to have a big sister who loves him so much already.
She will be his hero one day very soon!

Babies born with a head full of hair make me smile.

Thank You so much for letting me in on such a special day in your lives.
Congratulations and welcome to the world Carter Cash!
