I had no idea what to expect roughly two years ago when my husband invited me to go out with some of his friends from work. I was kind of nervous but the first time I met Rachel she welcomed me as if we had been friends for years. She had me laughing all night long. I was really excited to meet up with her and her 3 kids for some Christmas Photos!

The McLaughlin Christmas Photos
I'm really lucky Sandy 1) Worked some 3rd shifts in detention and 2) doesn't get mad when lack of sleep interferes with her session 3) has really stinking cute kids she wanted to get some pics of! I am mostly excited to announce that after this week I will be returning to my 1-2 session a week limit. While I have enjoyed taking pictures for the holiday sessions, I am ready to sit back and enjoy the holiday break preparing for my next semester at school. I am so thankful for everyone who has asked me to do their photos, and I hope you all enjoy your holidays! Now onto pictures of the McLaughlin Family!
I think I had some little models on my hands!
Unfortunately we had to sacrifice Aidan to get this shot. : )
The kid's cousin, Colin also came for some pics.
The Johnson's Christmas Photos
Stephanie and Sandy are sisters with one pretty important thing in common, they both have adorable children. The kids were great (I love love love cooperative kids). Little Colin was a tiny bit unsure of the camera at first but after a little time chasing him around I think he started to like it! I had a great time meeting you Stephanie, here are a few pics from your session, can't wait for you to see the rest!
I love his little personality in this picture:

House Family
Fall brings 2 things that makes family sessions almost impossible: Cold Weather and Dark Evenings. Well it is almost winter so we had to get creative and crash the convention center to catch a couple of snapshots for the House Family for Christmas.
I must say I was a little scared taking pics of 14 people but these kids were great!
I had a great time meeting the house family! Your pictures will be ready soon. As for the rest of the families waiting for their pics to be posted, I am planning to post a family each and finishing editing a family each day! Pics will be in the mail soon to all!

Ladybug Brooke's Christmas and Birthday!
Having a Birthday so close to Christmas can have some downsides. There's the fact that its expensive for parents, you often get gifts that dual as a Christmas and Birthday gift, parties on your actual birthday are often out of the question...BUT at least you can have Photos for 2 events for the price of one! I had such a great time chasing Brooke around for her photos. I LOVE kids who are constantly on the run, it means they are having fun! Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Brooke! I hope you love your pictures.
What am I thankful for? I am thankful for a loving, happy, healthy family, a new business that I love spending my time on, and moms who think of adorable "additions" to bring on photo sessions. Brooke's mom calls her Ladybug, so what could be better than a Ladybug themed birthday party? Happy 2nd Birthday Brooke!

Crittenden Christmas Photos
It is officially the Holiday Season. Main Street is decorated in holly and carolers are practicing for their rounds. Everything fits the season, EXCEPT FOR THE WEATHER! Not that I am complaining, it is perfect for pictures! I just feel like us St. Louis people are getting spoiled and then BAM! Its going to be cold. Today however, was perfect as I met with the Crittenden Family for Christmas Photos. They were all adorable in their Christmas colors and Drew was one of the best kids I have ever taken pictures with. Of course, who wouldn't be great if they have yummy ice cream as a reward?
Doesn't this remind you of a Winter Snow Globe?
One of my favorites of the session:
And now for the Ice Cream!
