Let me start by saying: Last Saturday was SOOO COLD! I was in a sweater and I was still cold. All of my clients either second guessed their outfits or had to change them all together last minute. Brrr, I hope those days are over now. If we could just get this rain to go away it should be great! Whether it was the cold air or that she was trying to show her Momma how much she loved her for Mother's Day, little Keira wanted her Mom by her side the entire session. I could tell Jaymie was getting upset. Here she was paying someone to take photos of her beautiful little girl and the weather was horrible and Keira would not leave her side. Me on the other hand, I thought it was precious. Jaymie, these days will not last forever. Keira will continue to get more and more independent with each passing day. I am so happy to have these moments captured on film. One day, sooner than later you will be missing these days. Hold on to them as long as you can. Happy (Belated) Mother's Day!
I see a Keira smile!! : )
Let this post serve as a reminder for parents to hug their children a little tighter, cherish the "needy" moments, cherish the fights, and even the times they are on your nerves. Hold on to the moments, because you will never get them back. An old friend of mine lost his life in a car accident on Mother's Day along with his little brother. His mom and dad would give anything to have a moment back with their sons. Please remember to thank God for every moment he blesses us with. Rest peacefully with your Savior Jimmy and Josh. I'll be seeing you.
