Benjamin Turns ONE...and guess who else?

Happy First Birthday to Benjamin!

I remember when Ben's momma went into labor. She asked "Hey Amy, can you look up what contractions feel like?" and my heart was immediately in my throat. Soon after little Benjamin was laying on the floor of my living room as I played around with my few day old camera. I remember Carrie saying, "You should do this for a living"...I laughed. So Happy First Birthday Benjamin and Amy Meyerott Photography. I can't believe how fast time has gone by and I am so thankful to the Mettendorf family for being the first to have faith in me. I love you guys!

Caden Turns 2!

Happy Sunday Everyone!! It seems like the weeks are going by sooner than I can snap a photo. I feel like I was JUST at Caden's house taking pics of him and his little sister Brynn but it has already been a quarter of a year! I feel like God has stepped on the accelerator pedal and there is nothing I can do to slow it down. I'm sure Caden and Brynn's parents are feeling the same way. We met up for some pictures to celebrate Caden's 2nd Birthday. It was one of the first beautiful spring days and I am so excited to have their family as a return client!

Awaiting Baby Lyla

I would have literally begged to do this session. Lyla's soon to be mommy is one of the best friends I have ever had. Lindsey and I met in elementary school and were thicker than thieves for much of our childhood. Linds played a key role in many of my favorite memories of my past. I am so honored to be a part of her present and her future. Lyla is such a lucky girl. Even though I just met Joe at their session, I know he is going to be a great daddy and that Lyla will soon have him wrapped around her tiny little finger. Congratulations to you both!

Although I have known Lindsey has been pregnant for months now- I have even seen pictures, for some reason it didn't really hit me until she stepped out of the car and I saw her little basketball of a belly. I am so blessed to have done these pictures for her.

Awaiting Baby Coltyn

You may recognize this growing family from their last family session in the fall when Coltyn was barely a peanut in his momma's belly. Click here to view. Little Camren is ready to be a big brother so he can have someone to climb trees with (or to scare the holy mess out of his mom with). Amanda has seriously jaded my view of pregnancy, she is just about due and she still runs, hops up and down from the ground, and chases after her son with an abundance of energy. Jeff is one lucky guy! I can't wait for the next adorable addition to their little family! Congratulations to you all!

So ready to teach his little brother all the things boys do best. Like skip rocks...

Or climb some trees...(f.y.i. this was quite a bit above my head)

And most importantly, teach him that all chicks are crazy. (especially ones who carry around cameras all the time!)
