Waiting on Baby _________.

There are SEVERAL perks to being a photographer.
SEVERAL!
One of the most awesome is that I get the privilege of knowing the name that goes in the blank.
Brandy and Elliot haven't told anyone what little baby _____'s name will be.
BUT MEEEEEE!!
It could be Penelope, or Lily, it could even be Sedona (where we are headed tomorrow),
heck, it could even be Amy!
But you won't know, not till little baby _____ makes her appearance.
Sorry Stine & Voris families,
I know I am rubbing it in a little bit,
but my job is seriously AWESOME!
So without any further bragging, gloating, being mean...
I present to you, "Waiting on Baby _____"!

At this point you are probably thinking we did this shoot in some field with no meaning to the couple. We were actually at the location where Elliot proposed to Brandy!
Can you guess where it is?

The Alton Dam!

And here is a picture of baby _____'s name!!!!

Haha kidding. For now.
One will go there, in a few, short months.

Brandy is super talented/crafty.
She is making all sorts of cute stuff for her little girl:

Congratulations Brandy and Elliot.
Baby ________ is going to be so blessed to have you two as parents.
I can't wait to meet her!

Ready or Not, Here HE Comes!

Oh Little Guy,
We have been waiting on you FORVER!
Baby Oliver is officially the first Meyerott Boy of this generation.
Aunt Amy can't wait to go to friday night football, and summer baseball, and your uncle can't wait till your first golf outing!
Oliver, just like his sister, decided to come out as soon as I left town
so pictures of him will have to wait until my next St Louis trip.
I am so glad I got to do maternity pictures,
one last time-
the family of three.

Three favorites from the session:

My sweet little niece, Ell Bell, whose world was just rocked.

Miss you FOUR so much.
I can't wait to hold my little guy!
Thank GOD for Facetime and Skype!!
Love,
Aunt Amy

Baby Bellies: Adelynn

I love when I have things in common with my clients.
Adriana and I had A LOT in common.
It is our first baby.
They are both girls!
(Adelynn&Madelyn)
We are both due very, very soon.
We both hope to have a natural, unmedicated delivery.
Lastly, we both have amazing men beside us along the way.
Omar was so impressive during their session.
Maybe it is because he has had 7 years with Adriana so he realizes just how special she is.
Maybe he is just a great guy.
I am willing to bet it is a combination of both.
Congratulations to you both.
I can't wait to see your little girl!

This picture is one we recreated from when they were in High School!

Ohhhh Baby

I have known Sarah since we were babies.
We met in Sunday School and every Sunday I looked forward to hanging out with her.
Now were both having babies of our own.
Well, actually, She is on her THIRD!!
I was kinda worried she was going into labor during our session
but the baby is still cooking as of right now.
She called me that morning to say she would be running a little late due to some contractions getting in the way. YIKES.
I had a lot of fun with her and her awesome hubby, Josh.
I have to admit 2 pregnant girls riding around in a golf cart was probably hilarious to everyone watching but ohh well- It was sooo worth it.

I understand now why men spend so much time on golf courses. They are peaceful and beautiful!

Isn't she Gorgeous?

Congratulation you two! Hopefully you have a new addition by the end of the week!

Awaiting Baby Lyla

I would have literally begged to do this session. Lyla's soon to be mommy is one of the best friends I have ever had. Lindsey and I met in elementary school and were thicker than thieves for much of our childhood. Linds played a key role in many of my favorite memories of my past. I am so honored to be a part of her present and her future. Lyla is such a lucky girl. Even though I just met Joe at their session, I know he is going to be a great daddy and that Lyla will soon have him wrapped around her tiny little finger. Congratulations to you both!

Although I have known Lindsey has been pregnant for months now- I have even seen pictures, for some reason it didn't really hit me until she stepped out of the car and I saw her little basketball of a belly. I am so blessed to have done these pictures for her.

Congratulations Lindsey! Love you always Mocca Bear!
