Forget Being Man's Best Friend

Being man's best friend is way overrated. Myler loves his mom. He is laying here in bed with me as I write this post. Myler is a constant source of joy in my stress ball of a life. When I come home from work, or my internship, or class he is always there waiting for me at the door with his tail going a mile a minute. He never talks back, he never tells me the house is a mess, he is never grouchy and he is ALWAYS down for a nap. He is actually the best snuggle buddy in the world. I believe having a dog adds years to your life. I believe those years are filled with an unconditional love humans are lucky to experience.
Myler's heart is so big sometimes I feel like it could just burst from his chest.
He is a gentle giant, too gentle for his own good. He wouldn't even know how to defend himself in a fight. He loves my mom's pint sized dog Chloe, who happens to have more bark and bite than he does. She weighs 1/20th of what he does and he still gets battle wounds from her.
I read a quote about dogs once that made me cry.
"You give them your spare time, spare energy, spare love. They give you their everything."

I love those sweet, puppy dog eyes.

Thank you Myler for giving me your everything.
I love you more than I could ever put into words. You warm my heart on a daily basis.
