Awaiting Baby Lyla

I would have literally begged to do this session. Lyla's soon to be mommy is one of the best friends I have ever had. Lindsey and I met in elementary school and were thicker than thieves for much of our childhood. Linds played a key role in many of my favorite memories of my past. I am so honored to be a part of her present and her future. Lyla is such a lucky girl. Even though I just met Joe at their session, I know he is going to be a great daddy and that Lyla will soon have him wrapped around her tiny little finger. Congratulations to you both!

Although I have known Lindsey has been pregnant for months now- I have even seen pictures, for some reason it didn't really hit me until she stepped out of the car and I saw her little basketball of a belly. I am so blessed to have done these pictures for her.

Congratulations Lindsey! Love you always Mocca Bear!

Awaiting Baby Coltyn

You may recognize this growing family from their last family session in the fall when Coltyn was barely a peanut in his momma's belly. Click here to view. Little Camren is ready to be a big brother so he can have someone to climb trees with (or to scare the holy mess out of his mom with). Amanda has seriously jaded my view of pregnancy, she is just about due and she still runs, hops up and down from the ground, and chases after her son with an abundance of energy. Jeff is one lucky guy! I can't wait for the next adorable addition to their little family! Congratulations to you all!

So ready to teach his little brother all the things boys do best. Like skip rocks...

Or climb some trees...(f.y.i. this was quite a bit above my head)

And most importantly, teach him that all chicks are crazy. (especially ones who carry around cameras all the time!)

Congratulations on your new miracle Jeff and Amanda.

Coltyn, I can't wait to meet you!

Sara's First Communion

A day every parent dreams of: The day their little girl dresses up in a beautiful white dress and walks down the aisle of their church. Many of you may think I'm talking about a wedding, but instead I'm talking about a little preview, a child's first communion. Easter is right around the corner and so is a very important time in many families lives. Sara's parents couldn't be more proud of their little girl and her commitment to her faith.

Isn't she beautiful!!

Free Photo Session

Happy Valentines Day! You don't need to have a significant other to give love this Valentines Day or any other day. To all who sent in nominations, I wish I could afford to give free sessions to you all. The nominations were all very touching and you are all great friends/family members for taking the time to do something kind for your friends. I am so glad I didn't have the responsibility of picking a winner. Although I could not give everyone a free session, I am giving all nominees a 20% discount off a photo session. Finally the winner of the Free Session is Lisa (submitted by Janice H). All nominees can contact me for their discount or to redeem their free session @ amy.meyerott@yahoo.com

The Hullinger Family

I have known Faith for about 5 years now. She has always been a wonderful person and now she is an even more wonderful mom. Faith and her husband, Eric, have only been parents for a week but already handle the job with incredible grace. It could be the fact that Elijah is such a perfect baby. He is so advanced for his little age. Congratulations Eric and Faith on your perfect baby boy!

Elijah and his puppy sister!

Elnora Marie 7months

Those who have been following my blog know that I am super proud of my nieces. I love them each very much for very different reasons. Little Miss Elnora has been stuck with my camera in her face from the time she was born, actually, she is the start of my photography business. I will be forever grateful to her for helping her Aunt Amy find one of her huge passions in life. I love you Ellie, and I cherish the fact that I get to document you as you grow! Love, Aunt Amy.

She is learning to crawl! Picture taking is going to get much more mobile!!!
